Wellington House is a delightful, informal family home.A marriage of two eras, the front is early Victorian and the rear 17th Century.

The house is situated just off the Main Street of Northiam a leisurely stroll from the well known house and gardens of Great Dixter, and 7 miles distant of Tenterden, Battle and Rye.

A short trip will take you to Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst, Pashley Manor and Scotney Castle Gardens and the Tenterden Steam railway.

We have two double bedrooms en suite with lots of Molton Brown goodies. Excellent quality beds and mattresses ensure a good nights sleep. A selection of teas,coffee and chocolate with fresh milk and home made biscuits, a television and radio in each room.

Breakfast is taken in the old brick floored dining room looking out to the garden, doors flung open in sunny weather.

Freshly squeezed orange juice, a prepared fresh fruit platter, cereals, prunes and delicious organic yogurt.

Local free range eggs, real bacon and local farm sausages, also locally sourced smoked haddock and kippers. Home made bread and a selection of preserves .Special dietary needs catered for.

Guests are welcome to use the sitting room with an open log fire and in warmer weather relax in the garden.

Occasional dinner available for 4 guests minimum (sometimes that rule is broken!!) with advance notice please.
