Hi Steve, my name is Ross Browning and I was resident in Northiam 1977 - 2003. The Inn closed around the time I completed at the Primary School so around 1988-90 ish, it then had a short period of inactivity and then underwent conversion and extension into a mews of houses Six Bells Mews where the streetname serves as the only reminder of the Inn's name. The small green with grand oak tree upon it and surrounding (private) crescent driveway is still there. I hope this information is helpful to you.

My wife and I should be in the area next month, we'll look out for it. We live in California now, spent first night of our honeymoon in Northiam Arms (I think it was called that, but I can't find it online anywhere.)

We spent honeymoon at the Six Bells. Is it still standing (the floors sagged a bit)?
